Craft and sip: Make felted dryer balls

Tuesday Oct. 28th 6-8pm - $15Join us for an evening of needle felted dryer balls! Using yarn scraps and wool roving, you'll be able to make a set of beautiful, functional dryer balls.Dryer balls improve the feel of your laundry without single use dryer sheets and they shorten the drying time of your clothes, saving you energy! These eco-friendly powerhouses are easy and fun to make.Whether you're a seasoned crafter or just starting out, this class is beginner-friendly and a perfect chance for you to sip, socialize and make something special.All craft materials will be provided. Craft Your Fairytale World - 6 week workshop - Ages 6-10

Thursdays October 30, November 6, 13, and 20, and December 4th and 11. 3:30-4:30 - No class Nov. 27th (Thanksgiving) - $100Craft your fairytale world in this 6 week afterschool workshop. We’ll be making hobby horses (or unicorns), crowns, wands, fairy wings, and other fanciful items that are perfect for imaginative play! Over the course of this class, students will learn basics of hand and machine sewing along with many other craft techniques.Ages 6-10

Jen is a board certified music therapist with a private practice in Burlington and she is a trained SoulCollage® facilitator.


Intro to Crochet

Monday Nov. 3rd 6-8pm
Join us for an introduction to crochet. This class is perfect for folks who've never tried crocheting before, as well as those who are looking for a refresher. During this class, you will learn to chain stitch and single crochet as well as double crochet and some basic troubleshooting as time allows. Materials are included! All students will receive a crochet hook and choice of yarn from our basic yarn wall, though you are also welcome to bring your own supplies if you have something you'd like to use.
This class is geared towards adults, but children 10 and up are welcome to attend with an adult who is also registered. Maximum of 10 students.


Crochet granny squares

Monday Nov. 10th and 17th 6-8pm
Granny squares are the perfect versatile building block for your crochet projects. With them you can make everything from blankets to bags to bikini tops. In the first session of this class, we'll cover how to make granny squares including techniques for changing color and weaving in your ends. In the second session, we'll discuss the different methods for joining your squares to create an infinite number of fun and unique projects.
This class is designed for folks who have some basic crochet experience. If you've never crocheted before, please register for intro to crochet (Mon. Nov. 3rd) before this class.
This class is geared towards adults, but children 10 and up are welcome to attend with an adult who is also registered. Maximum of 10 students.


Intro to Hand Embroidery - Sold out!

Wednesday Nov. 5th 6-8pm
Join us at The Makery for an introduction to hand embroidery with Danielle Buchanan. This class is great for beginners or folks who want to get back into hand embroidery. We'll learn the most commonly used hand embroidery stitches like french knots, whipped back stitch, and lazy daisies, and you'll leave class with a fun embroidered design of your own! Supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring your own fabric items to embroider if you'd like.


Mini Makers

First Saturday of the Month 10:00-11:30am $15
Mini Makers is a hands-on arts and crafts experience designed for kids ages 2-5. Caregivers join their child at many different crafting stations where kids can explore with all their senses and develop their fine motor skills. Each month, we’ll set up an assortment of ever changing craft opportunities so kids can explore colors, shapes, textures, and so much more at their own pace. Previous crafts have included: Collage, stamps, painting, coloring, beading, play-doh, slime, and more!

Rent our classroom to host a craft party for your next event. Perfect for Birthday Parties (kids or adults!) Baby showers, bachelorette parties and more!
All craft parties include:
-1-2 hours of a custom craft project tailored to your event and led by one of our instructors. - all supplies included!
-1-2 additional hours in our space for food, drinks, opening presents, and other activities.

Donate Arts and Craft Supplies

We will be accepting donations the 1st through the 7th of November and December (no appointment required). In January, we will switch to donation by appointment. Beginning in late December, a link will be found here to book a drop off date.

How to make a donation and get store credit:

  1. Bring your items in the first week of the month (Except October) during our regular business hours and leave them with us with a donation form.

  2. We will email you your store credit amount and if you've chosen the option on your form, we will let you know if we have any items to be returned to you.

  3. Your store credit goes into your customer account and you can use it anytime on merchandise or classes!

  4. Please know, it takes us the whole month to go through all the donations we recieve the first week. We will try to email you with your store credit as quickly as possible, but it may be the end of the month before you hear from us.

Donation Guidelines

All donated items must be free of smells and signs of moths or other pests.

We do NOT accept:

  • Household textile items such as bedding, curtains, tablecloths, etc.

  • Clothing

  • Corks, pill bottles, mint tins, and other recyclables

  • Jewelry (intact or broken, though we will happily accept beads or pendants that have been removed from jewelry)

  • Partially finished craft projects
